Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Wellness & Mental Health Virtual Town Hall last night!
Our expert panelists shared valuable information on strategies for coping with stress, how best you can support children during this time, and what resources are available for parents within LAUSD and L.A. County. We are living in challenging times, and we need to make sure we are taking care of each other and ourselves. We’ve posted a list of resources below that can help.
For those of you who weren’t able to join us, you can view a full recording of the event here.
We would like to extend a special thank you to our guest panelists: Joel Cisneros and Flavia Cabrera-Rodgers of the District’s Mental Health Division, Kanchana Tate from the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, and long-time parenting expert, Ruth Beaglehole. They did an amazing job, and we are so happy they were able to join us.
Stay safe, healthy, and wash your hands! We were so happy to be able to connect with all of you—even in these times of social distancing!
